Now, Allamby is an emergency medicine physician at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. But his chemistry professor pushed him to become a doctor. Given his late start, Allamby figured he’d become a nurse or physician’s assistant. But at 34, he decided to pivot and go back to school.Ī biology prerequisite in college inspired him to consider a career in health care.
